Zajaddi Egyptian Arabians began it's journey into breeding *Straight Egyptian Arabian horses in Bruneau, Idaho in 1999, under the name Bruneau River Arabians, acquiring two quality pregnant mares and a weanling filly. Operations were relocated to central Arkansas in August of 2000 and roots were firmly planted.  The two foundation mares, EAI Alikadeena (by Imperial Madheen x Aliikat) and Azaamah (Tammen x Aleeyah, by *Ibn Morafic) were off to a great start, each producing a lovely colt and were rebred for the first Zajaddi-bred bloodstock.
Much research went into the critical first decisions on
breeding including consulting with a few of the most well respected and notable individuals in the industry including Beverly Sziraky, manager at the Imperial Egyptian Stud to whom we grew to admire greatly. The first foal to arrive at Zajaddi Egyptian Arabians in 2001 was the stunning filly Barizzah by Imperial Baarez x Azaamah. She would become the catalyst for many great opportunities, show wins and long-standing friendships.
